Abekas is bringing Mira, their new, affordable production video server to this year's NAB.  It expands their family of clip players to include an SD/HD four channel server. The Abekas® Mira^TMrecords and plays SD or HD video and AES audio from any or all of its video channels.  SD is uncompressed and HD Video is JPEG-2000 at better than D5 quality.  The compact (3RU) Mira is available in 15, 30 and 60 hour versions.  Intended for live production applications, Mira can be used for instant replay or Video/Key/Audio effects applications, and is an economical way to feed interstitials, animated graphics & bumpers to on-set monitors.
